Gala- "Ich bin ein Berliner."

Saturday November 7, 2009

This gala event will feature cultural German music and delicious hors-d'oeuvres and will be the perfect culmination point to an ambitious and important semester-long project focusing on the fall of the wall.

Charity Run

Sunday November 8, 2009 at 12Noon

Part of the Freedom Without Walls celebration at Duke will be a charity 5K benefiting SEEDS in Durham, NC.

Exhibition

In his collection "East Berlin: And the Wall Came Down," Brooklyn-based photographer Vincent Cianni has captured a visual record of an important historic episode.
