Conference attendees are responsible for booking their own accommodation. Blocks of rooms have been set aside at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill (single $170 per night; double $190) and the Brookwood Inn in Durham ($69 per night, single or double). When reserving a room at either of these hotels please explicitly mention the name of the conference, ?Beginnings and Endings of Modernity.?

The closest airport is Raleigh-Durham International. Participants must make their own arrangements for getting to and from the airport.

Conference Transportation

Shuttle buses will be provided to transport hotel guests to and from conference locations.
